Lewis leads a large and diverse team of attorneys and lobbyists in the public law arena as President of Roetzel Consulting Solutions. His team represents our clients' interests before state legislatures, administrative agencies, and executive branches of state governments in providing legal and political solutions to important issues. Lewis serves as lead counsel to numerous large, public and private entities throughout Ohio and Washington, D.C. He has also acted as lead counsel for several multi-million dollar development projects. His clients include public and private entities, as well as diversified energy companies, governmental entities, housing authorities, and nonprofit organizations. Lewis is affiliated with numerous professional and charitable organizations including Board Chair for the University of Akron Board of Trustees, Ideastream Public Media Board of Trustees, the American Bar Association, the Greater Akron Chamber of Commerce, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association.

Lewis previously served as General Counsel to Summit County, Ohio. He received his Juris Doctor from the University of Akron School of Law and his Bachelor of Science, cum laude, from the City College of The City University of New York.

  • Lead a municipality for a significant Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) mandate on a federal level
  • Participated in a significant airport project in Northeast Ohio
  • Helped in the development of the Akron Urban League/City of Akron/County of Summit school project headquarters
  • Counseled client on numerous public/private projects collectively valued well over $100 million dollars
  • Served as lead counsel for Ohio's largest community correction facility
  • Assisted in the site developed of the Cleveland Industrial Park
  • Assisted with the successful development of multiple units of affordable housing throughout Ohio
